Focus on... change

My Wise Woman Workshops are making a comeback! The aim is to start a dialogue. So if you want to talk about how the menopause affects women and find ideas on how to tackle the symptoms naturally, book one of my two workshops. The first one is on Saturday 4th May.

Wise Woman Workshops

In many cultures a woman’s menopause is a time to be celebrated. It is seen as a transition to a new stage in life; a time for joy in which the emphasis shifts from childbearing and household chores to becoming the wise woman. So join me on a Wise Woman Workshop and let's talk about how to manage menopause symptoms naturally.

During this workshop, taking place in my home studio in Preston in Weymouth, we will start with a yin yoga practice to ease muscles and joints and encourage you to go inward and find the peace within you. Yin is a gentle practice and is accessible to everyone so please don't worry if you don't have any experience with yoga. The majority of postures are on the floor and I will provide everything you need. You don't need to be fit or a seasoned yogi. All you need to do is to show up in comfortable clothes, with a can-do attitude and your trademark mischievous smile....

After a break for refreshments and snacks we take the time to talk about how menopause symptoms are affecting you and the best ways to manage this change naturally. Or perhaps you're not yet experiencing symptoms and you just want to get ahead of the game - this workshop will be perfect for you too! Some of the topics we will discuss will include lifestyle, foods, exercise, acupressure, aromatherapy, herbs, homeopathy and more. This will be an opportunity for you to explore how symptoms affect you and be with others who may be grappling with similar issues.

You will be sent away with a comprehensive manual with all the information we discuss, including the yin yoga practice we begin the day with for you to indulge in at home. A recording of the yin yoga session will also be included.

Taking place on Saturday 4th May at 10am-2pm. If you can't make this date a second date has been scheduled for Saturday 3 August.

Only six spaces per session so book your space at www.BelieveinWellbeing.co.uk/retreats.
