Would you like to build a consistent yoga practice? With consistency you will build strength (it will be so subtle - and then one day you realise you're so much stronger!) and you may become more flexible too.
Book your regular sessions with me
As with most forms of exercise or movement therapy, consistency is so important to help build strength, flexibility and muscle memory. And this is absolutely true of yoga. Attending regular classes will also make the pose names more familiar and you'll find you can begin to transition more easily into shapes without having to glance up and check what I'm doing. Eventually you'll find you develop more fluidity in your practice.
As an incentive, and to help you form great habits, I have a great proposal for you. Book a six week block, with a class pass, of regular weekly yoga sessions with me and I will give you access to my four online sessions a week for that time frame. You'll be able to use the live online sessions to further feed your yoga habit.
If you mostly join my flow yoga sessions you may find my yin yoga session on Thursday evenings beneficial as an additional weekly class to deepen into your body and to find stillness. If yin is your thing in my studio perhaps my Seize the Day half hour morning flow sessions three times a week will help you to strengthen and become more familiar with the movement side of yoga.
This is my online schedule to give you an idea of what is on offer:
* 7am Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: Seize the Day half hour flow yoga
* 6:30pm Thursdays: 60 minute yin yoga (hybrid class both online and in the studio)
For a reminder of my full online and in-studio classes, and for a bit of information on the difference between the class styles, just head to www.BelieveinWellbeing.co.uk/yoga
I've also had a number of you ask me if I'm planning any other day time classes. So I'm playing with idea of offering a Slow and Flow class (a fusion of yin yoga and flow yoga) on either Thursdays at 1pm or Fridays at 10:30am. Let me know if you fancy either of these times and it may well hit the schedule from April.
Lastly, a reminder of my Self Care Retreat Afternoon taking place next Saturday, 23rd March 2-4pm. There are a couple of spaces left and I would love you to join me. This is the perfect afternoon to bring a friend, your mum, daughter or sister too. We'll spend a lovely afternoon together practicing flow yoga, enjoying cake and herbal teas, learning a jade roller facial routine and finishing with soothing and calming yin yoga.
